A native of Chicago, Millicent met and married a Georgia native. Both enthusiastic Golfers, it was the game that brought them together. As they looked ahead to retirement they searched locations to fill their golden years playing golf. They found the Lake Country of Georgia fell in love with its recreational opportunities and the people who live here. Millicent jumped into polishing her golf game, volunteering as a Georgia State Golf Association Course Rater and numerous other activities. The challenges of the golf course did not replace the joys of interacting with people in more serious endeavors. She became a REALTOR, and then turned her attention to sharing with others her love for the Lake Country, her insights into Golf Courses and Lake Communities.
Millicent’s Midwestern gregarious and helpful nature is at the forefront when dealing with Clients. She brings untiring efforts to find the perfect house for a Buyer.
In her off hours, Millicent continues as a member of the Georgia State Golf Association’s Course Rating team. She remains active in the Ladies Golf Association of her Community and also leads a neighborhood water aerobics group. In the quest to satisfy her inner fiber artist, she is a member of the Lake Oconee Quilt Guild.
She serves on the Advisory Board of the Pete Nance Boys and Girls Club. She is committed to the Club's promise that "Great Futures Start Here”. She has been awarded both the US President’s Volunteer Service Award, and the Lake Country Board of Realtors Community Service Award. Both recognized her efforts to in support of the Boys and Girls Club. Millicent is a member of the Million Dollar Club.
